Camera Suggestions! Come one! Come all!!

Hi!

Ok, this is just a quick journal in which I need your opinions from experience or research(if you please).

Bad News: Two weeks ago I lost my black, 12mega pixel Kodack V300(or something like that) in the middle of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. In a grassy area just east of the almighty Gateway. Didn't realize I didn't pick it up out of the shadows of the setting sun until I went home and woke up the next day. So yeah, some lucky person now owns the best camera I've ever had *sad sigh*. And I've already gone back to check, so yeah, it's waaaaaaay gone by now.

Summary: I'm short a camera and having withdrawls.

Good news: I now have a good-paying, full time job and can save up for a really, really nice camera(y'know, not just a "scrap-booking" camera, but one with different lenses and stuffs *drools at the thought of a macro lense or telescopic lense*).

Problem: I have no idea what camera I want to save up for.

Pointers: I love the colors Cannons capture and am thinking I really want one of those, or a Nikon. I'm brainstorming right now, so I'm not narrowing down the price range, I want to know what's out there and get something awsome before I start having to be responsible and start having to pay for living expenses.

So if ya'll could please help me, out, that would be great. And links to specific cameras would be loved too.

Updates!! OMG I'm Alive!

Hey people!

I think I owe an apology for not being very active lately. I feel bad. School has been incredibly busy and sucking up my life, as well as my job. Good news though, I'm graduating high school on wednesday!

I have been working on lots of art in my AP Art class and brought it home and will be updating my gallery promptly. ^^ So just hold on a little longer please.

Lovely, Lovely Autumn

I'm trying out a new CSS that seems to fit the season a little better. ^^

So how is everyone? Guess what? It's my favorite season-Autumn! And my favorite month too- October! YAAAAAY!!!

the colors are growing more and more beautiful every day.

At least that's good. ^^ I'll admit life's getting a little tough right now. I have a certain art teacher for two periods on my B-day at school that I have a really time with. Our personalities tend to clash, but I never say anything but "thank you" and "okay" so he'll just stop lecturing me on every little thing and leave me be to do my art. And then after those two periods, my english taecher chewed me out for not taking notes. I thought those were optional, especially since it's exactly what we write for our study guides. *frustrated* At least productions was a good way to start the day. Our drama teacher here is incredible.

Anywho! Now that that little bit is out, I just need to thank everyone for everything!

Err. . . hi.

Please don't shoot me.

So guess what, school and work is eating my cyberlife away. Sad huh? I'm so sorry that I haven't been active on here for who knows how long. I don't even have time to spend on friends and I only manage to keep creating art because I'm in the Advanced Placement Art class and doodling in my sketchbook is an assignment (Woot! can you say awsome?! I mean, now I get credit for doing what I'm going to do anyway!

). And though I only work two days a week, I somehow find myself booked for the other 5 days. And when I'm not out and doing something, I'm sitting on my bed doing homework.

***Due to my long absence, I have over 1,250 deviations that you have done, and 540+ messages to respond to. Please do not be offended, I can't comment on every deviation, I I can't respond to every comment I've recieved, and I'm not even going to try to read the 100+ journals.

Busy Busy Busy -Update

Yes, I still have managed to working on my own personal projects which include but are not restricted to:

Sewing a full size dress in the style worn by the Mormon pioneers <~ DONE

Decorating a bag bought at an army surplus store "Smith and Edwards" with embrodery and some fabric paint <~DONE

Shading one of my old drawings(I believe it's title is "Elven Portrait" in my Old Sketches) to be pencil realism. I can't wait until I finish it and put it up. <~ALMOST DONE (I used it for a critique session in my AP art class. They were impressed, I can't wait to show you. ^^)

Designing and sewing a very pretty skirt out of scraps I've collected. I'll put up the designs as soon as I can.

<~IN THE PROCESS (I have the designs and the peices cut out, but they are no peice of art work, lol XD. I'm the only one who could understand all of the scribbles)

Designing and sewing a large bag that can hold my sketchbook and art suplies in style.

There aren't any 2D designs for that, I make it up as I sew it. ^^ <~CANCELLED

NEW PROJECTS:

Create several more characters in the same design as "Elf Maiden -The Finished Work" for someone who likes that picture and is using her and the others for illistrations in her fantasy novel.

Design the makeup to be used in our high school's fall production, Peter Pan, and others. I'm going for a scholarship in the Stage Makeup area.

Come up with a unique costume for Halloween this year. I want to be a Steam Punk/Air Pirate. Let me know if you have any ideas.
