More practice with colors. :D

Original size of the paper is 3.5"x5". It's in my cute little sketchbook that i just got, so I don't have to carry around my full size one and damage it. ^^

Medium: Pen on paper, then taken into Photoshop Elements 5.0

When one takes a picture, they capture their true soul with that moment.

So vivid! I just love it.

Usually when people use shades of red, green, and yellow in one picture I find the colors don't mix properly, but this is like the personification of a crimson sunset behind a golden sun, grassy fields stretched out below it. Adding to the image is how elegant it is while still leaving an element of beautiful simplicity.

Her face could be something that deserved critique; it seems fairly short and wide, as though it's almost a flat heart-shape. However, to me, it looks something like the face of a child on the edge of adolescence, showing innocence. Adding the eyes, which are perfectly shaped to look cunning and intelligent, and it's a contrast between the naive and the wise sides of existence. Because of that, I'm can't say that there's anything at all flawed in this artwork!

Something else I admire is that you captured the entire picture in the title. The colors, the meaning, and the design are all eye-catching, unique - vibrant!
